On the evening of Friday, November 19th we will be holding our 6th annual sketch comedy film festival, which will feature shorts by comedians and funny filmmakers from Philadelphia and beyond. Last year, we switched over to a virtual event for the Film Festival portion of Philly Sketchfest with the live comedy festival now being in it's 12th year , which turned out to be an incredible success! We were honored to have such a wide array of hilarious films from both local and out-of-town comedians and filmmakers, and hope to get just as many great entries for this year's online virtual festival.

Submit your favourite scripted content developed for screens. If it's short and funny We accept all kinds of comedy shorts and sketches, from animation, music video, mockumentary and more. Video length must be under 10 minutes the shorter, the better! By submitting the link to your filmed comedy sketch, you are acknowledging that you would like your video screened in this festival revue show and that we have your permission to do so. While the festival offers an array of different types of comedic shorts, to ensure your film can be screened in a commercial setting, we strongly encourage ALL entries to include licensed or original music in their works.

While we allow videos of all types to be submitted, any film using unlicensed content runs a significant risk of being pulled from a public screening if selected for the festival. I was glad to have my film "Shahkboy" screened in Philly Sketchfest, though sadly I couldn't attend. Communication was great and they sent a follow-up email after the festival was over, which I really appreciated!
