I would suggest that. I know the other thing is going alone, who wants to go it alone even with a few friends to tag along. I don't like going alone mostly even at places mentioned, but I have been there with other people with me and the scene seems to be fun and many over I found hanging out with my mother years ago when she went to clubs or should I say a club she fit in I felt very comfortable there even in my 20s when most would not.

There were few younger people there. So try to look for clubs outside of Nashville scene areas, like trinity lane area, bell Meade, Bellevue if any are there you can meet people at your local bar and grills also. Look at sites that mention singles over 40 and you will see the activities they are having. I know bar scenes are not a good place to meet, but some of your local outside of city limits seem to have more over 30's there.
