What do you do? I would make a pros and cons list of the new deli! I would charm them with my delicious description of their new sub. I would go alone, but make sure to waft the sandwich as I sit around them when I return. I would explain that if they come with me, they can join in on the 2-for-1 deal, bargain!

If the rest of the team wants pizza, then I will go with them. Alongside the interesting work we do at Aon there is always some less exciting, but necessary, tasks that need to be completed It's Tuesday, time for some admin work. You need to make sure your team documents are all saved in the right places and named correctly.

How would you do this? Headphones in, I would find a quiet corner and crank this out. Maybe someone else could do this, I have more important things to work on for clients.

I would do what I can but if there are some documents missing I'm sure I'll find them if someone needs them. At Aon we must move at a very high pace to provide the best service possible for our clients, but we must make sure that this does not damage our integrity and quality of service.

Your manager asks you to proofread a report from their manager. This is a very important report which needs to be sent to the client ASAP, so they have asked for you to do one final check before sending. I would bring this to the attention of my manager, who would then correct the minor error. I would correct the mistake myself without making a big deal of it; however, it may lead to a delay in sending to the client. I would let the client know that there may be a small delay, correct the mistake and review the report once more.

At Aon we are constantly competing against the top organizations, and we must always provide our absolute best to clients. What do you do during the call?

I would speak out during the call, recommending the long-term solution to the client. I would ask a few clarifying questions to confirm my thoughts before recommending the longer-term solution. I got severely ill which required hospitalization and the only feedback I got from my manager was that I should have waited until after the workday to seek medical care because leaving early inconvenienced their day.

Pros Employee appreciation week once a year. Cons Management, culture, value. Good company with a very strong culture of innovation and client centric. I like insurance! Good job during Covid! Smart people who work hard and have integrity. Resources available for health solutions. Team environment with a foundation of respect. Management was pretty flexible but at time could be a little ridged.

Pros low pay, no advancement. Cons supervisors were pretty flexible when needed. I worked for a division of AON that was sold. AON was the parent company so my review may be different. The company was okay, just like many larger companies. The duties are maintained within each department meaning it can be a little hard to learn more without moving to another position.

However, the internal posting and interview process for another role is pretty straightforward. It can take several weeks to transition depending on how soon your previous role can be filled. Working from home was pretty much a standard for many positions. This worked in my favor as I could leave for appointments and make up time without much disruption of my day. Management was hit or miss with some being more micromanagers and others providing enough support and feedback.

The work was sufficient, but could become overwhelming when the application is not functioning as expected. Benefits were comparable, but healthcare costs were high. However, I think health care costs are high in most companies. Overall, AON was a good company, but once the division was sold, job security went downhill. Pros Internal Team Meetings with Food. I worked as a Client Services Specialist.

It was a challenging but rewarding work environment. Everyone on the team worked hard to meet our goals and management was always available to help as needed. Meeting turn around timelines on processing invoices, certificates, etc could be stressful but the internal systems were easy to use to get transactions done.
