There are numerous parks and playgrounds, beaches for both families and singles, beautiful running loop around castle island, fantastic schools south Boston catholic and the Perry , easy commutes to down town visiting with public transportation, short walk to restaurants, boutiques and the seaport.

The administration and a majority of the teachers are unprofessional and don't seem to care about the success of the students and are more concerned with making friends with the students.
The principal is useless. Parents are usually the last to be notified in important matters. It's almost impossible to get a return call from anyone. They children are being left behind. The students are disrespectful and it is hard for any child to really learn in their classes. The principal will not them them out of those classes. James Condon Elementary School. The Condon is totally underrated! Excellent teachers, new principal is very caring and committed. My children transferred here from a local parochial school and the academics are much more rigorous at the Condon, both in AWC and regular ed. The Condon's low test scores reflect the challenges of its population, not the quality of instruction. Very happy with this school! Parent Review 5y ago. Quincy Upper School. Student Review 3y ago. Orchard Gardens K-8 School. McCormack Middle School. The McCormack is one of the worst middle middle school in the state of Massachusetts in the terms of behavior, barely surpassing the Frederick. If possible, I would give the school a 0, but teachers try here, for example, Neema Avashia, Nikki Larcrombe, Elyse Maziarz, and of course principal Micheal Sabin do try to help these students graduate on time, it's just that the students don't take the time to try as hard as they should in order to do well and pass mandatory exams.
